Located between the city of Ely and Newmarket town, Soham is a welcoming and long-established community, offering a variety of local conveniences for day-to-day needs. Excavation of the area revealed traces of a settlement thought to be from the Bronze Age. The dig uncovered pottery, animal and plant remains, as well we evidence of some Roman ditches. Earlier signs of activity have also been unearthed, going back as far as 2,500 BC.

Because of its location, Felix Park offers commuters a variety of options for transport connections to the rest of the UK and much further afield. The development is close to the A142 providing links to Ely & Newmarket and has easy access to the A11 and A14. The site is also less than 8 miles away from Ely railway station, offering direct trains to Cambridge, Bury St. Edmunds, Peterborough, London Stanstead Airport, Ipswich and London Liverpool Street.
