Orbit Homes spreads Easter excitement to Rugby’s three Children and Family Centres

A chocolate donation by Orbit Homes has helped to make Easter egg-stra special for three Children and Family Centres in Rugby after the affordable housebuilder offered a hamper of treats for them to distribute to their communities.

The team at Orbit Homes collected over 100 Easter eggs and chocolate treats, which were shared between the Centres in Boughton, Claremont and Long Lawford.

Run by Barnardo’s, each centre provides key support services to children and young people of all ages, as well as their families. The donation means there’s plenty of chocolate for the centres to share with those who count on their wide-ranging support over Easter.

Brian Nearney, Regional Managing Director for Orbit Homes in the Midlands and South, commented: “At Orbit Homes we value the role we play in our local communities and as such, our team wanted to do something special for the young people and their families in the area. We hope that these treats can go some way to supporting the valuable work that Barnardo’s do and help make Easter a little bit more enjoyable for those they support in Rugby.”

Debbie Daniel, Project Coordinator at Rugby Children & Family Centres said: “Much of what we do relies on the support of our community partners, so we’d like to thank the team at Orbit Homes for their donation. Easter eggs are a luxury for some families, so this contribution helps to ensure that as many children as possible enjoy that special feeling that Easter can bring.”
