Third Award win for Poppy Fields
Affordable housing scheme Poppy Fields in Ramsgate has won 'Construction Project of the Year' at the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2023.
The Orbit Homes scheme, which was built by WW Martin, comprises 55 100% affordable new homes. The development was recognised for demonstrating best practice in sustainable design and construction, with carbon emissions reduced both during construction and in the operational lifecycle of each new home.
The project has also successfully championed local employment, training and apprenticeships.

This is the third award for Poppy Fields which was recently named as the ‘Best Construction Project’ at the South East Construction Awards 2023 as well as a winner of a Green Plaque Award, which demonstrates the development's exceptional commitment to sustainable design.
