Orbit Homes’ value for money stands out for Joe and Bianca with move to Mill View
Joe and Bianca, and their family and friends, are amazed by the value for money the couple have received after purchasing the new family home from Orbit Homes at Mill View in Dereham.
After raising their family of four sons and dog Molly in Milton Keynes, Joe and Bianca wanted to relocate away from city life. On deciding to move, they were keen to explore the benefits a new build home had to offer, as Joe explains:
“We wanted less maintenance, a more energy efficient home and the peace of mind that comes with knowing everything is brand new. A new house offers all of these.”
During their search for a new home, the couple soon realised that Orbit Homes and Mill View stood out amongst all the developments they had viewed, as Joe continues: “We looked at six new developments around Norfolk and when we sized up the bedrooms and compared with what Orbit Homes offered at the price, it was a no brainer – they offered the best value for money for the size and house design out of all the developers plus they were able to offer a corner plot as well.
“Prices of the houses are unbelievable for the amount you get for your money. Everything is included from carpet, flooring, turf, fences – even downlights under the kitchen cabinets. People who visit us can’t believe the value for money either.”
Joe and Bianca picked out a four-bedroom ‘Langford’ house design at Mill View, which offered the perfect mix for all the family.
“We love the classic ‘dolls house’ appearance. It also offered us a study (as Joe mainly works from home). Even the fourth bedroom is an excellent size, and we also wanted a door from the back garden so that we could clean the dog before it ran around the house all muddy.
“We love the layout the most, everything seems to be how we always wanted our house to be. Separate living room and separate study (so not working from a bedroom or kitchen table), bedrooms are all a good size and we have a lovely en-suite in the main bedroom. We have a corner plot that backs onto allotments, which is so nice and peaceful. We’re next to the Windmill, there’s a fabulous coffee shop nearby and walking the dog over Nethard Common is very close as well.
“Our new neighbours are lovely and everyone is already chatting to each other in the close. It may have been a little luck, but I love coming back to my new house and walking in the door every time. This is home already and that's just after six months.”
Joe and Bianca’s new home is also a massive hit with family and friends, even encouraging one of them to follow the family to Mill View as Joe notes: “Our family and friends love visiting us for weekends and really enjoy the slower pace away from living in cities. They love it, so much so that Bianca’s mother has put her house up for sale in Staffordshire so she can come and move to Mill View too.”
The couple also really appreciate the support they’ve received throughout the buying process from the Orbit Homes team, as Joe explains: “The team have gone above and beyond and nothing has been any trouble for them. They have all been amazing and it’s made us so happy – I feel they couldn’t have done anymore and they’re a real credit. It’s made the experience a most pleasurable one.
“Mill View and Dereham are so lovely and I think we have definitely picked the best development with the best people working on it.”
