The new Orbit Homes properties will feature as part of Marham Park – a brand new village-style development on the edge of Fornham All Saints near Bury St Edmunds. Set within 40 acres of open space, the new community provides the perfect setting for new homes with a variety of new attractive and accessible green spaces will be created for sport and recreation. Marham Park has been designed and created to offer residents an authentic village ambience, and will feature its own village square, local centre, children’s play area, a leisure centre, sports pitches, a care home, and space for allotments.

Andy Georgiou, Sales and Marketing Director at Orbit Homes, said: “We are extremely proud to be launching Wellington Place at Marham Park, which will offer a real sense of community for residents and is the perfect location for first-time buyers, downsizers, families, and commuters too. The development is perfectly placed to benefit from the surrounding countryside and is also just three miles from the historic town of Bury St. Edmunds, which offers excellent transport links and a variety of local amenities.

“The desirable location will allow customers to have a good quality home that they can afford, in a place that they are proud to live.  We are expecting a lot of interest in this development, so I would encourage potential buyers to get in touch now to avoid disappointment!”.

Situated close to the market town of Bury St. Edmunds, the location offers residents a combination of shopping and leisure facilities in a uniquely historical, yet modern setting, with a range of independent shops, elegant boutiques, and high street brands.  For everyday purchases, the town is home to a collection of well-known supermarkets as well as a popular twice-weekly farmers’ market.  Alternatively, the charming village of Fornham All Saints is right on the doorstep of Marham Park. Here, you will find a traditional village pub, local shops, a florist, and a café. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walks, with many picturesque villages nearby, as well as a range of country pubs, woodland walks, nature reserves and gold courses to enjoy.

With easy access to the A14, and its central location between Cambridge and Ipswich, Wellington Place offers commuters a range of transport connections to the rest of the UK and much further afield. Bury St. Edmunds railway station is around 2.5 miles away, offering trains to Ipswich in 30 minutes, Cambridge in 45 minutes, and from there onwards, directly to London in just over an hour.  The development is served by two bus routes, providing a service between Bury St. Edmunds, Mildenhall and connecting with Lackford and Newmarket.

All properties have been designed with energy-efficiency in mind, helping to reduce customer energy bills and lessen the environmental impact. Residences are attractively designed, thoroughly modern and built to an excellent standard featuring a brand-new all-inclusive specification.
