LOCAL AMENITIES
For everyday living, there are a number of amenities within a few minutes including a village convenience store, schools and a health centre. Hailsham town centre itself has several supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, a bank, Post Office and a number of independent and high street retailers.

FAMILIES
Families are well catered for, and there are a number of schools in the area including Hailsham Primary Academy and Hellingly Community Primary School. For older children there is the Hailsham Community College and other schools slightly further afield.

LOCAL AREA
Hailsham is a pretty and vibrant market town and has been one of the centres of commerce in Sussex since way back in 1252 and remains today the only active livestock market in the area. Street markets are to be found twice a week in the centre of town, while the local famers ply their trade on the streets every month as they have done for centuries.

There’s no shortage of entertainment at your fingertips either, with new and classic films showing at the Hailsham Pavilion, whose Edwardian auditorium is also the setting for musical and theatre productions.

Families are well-served with the brilliant Knockhatch Adventure Park, which takes in adventure playgrounds, a boating lake, scenic picnic areas, a petting farm and even an owl sanctuary, while shoppers can take advantage of Millwood Park’s proximity to Hailsham’s rich array of shops, ranging from big high street names to quirky independent retailers.
