The historic market town of Epsom provides its residents with a wide variety of independent and better-known eateries, bars, cafés and shops.
Local Amenities

Out & About

For those with children there are a number of nursery and primary schools and for older ones there’s Blenheim High School, Epsom and Ewell High School as well as Glyn School for Boys and Nonsuch High School for Girls.

Local amenities are excellent with a shopping mall, leisure facilities and the nearby Epsom Downs home of the famous racecourse which features two of the five English Classic horse races, The Derby and The Oaks.

You can visit the Virgin Active Health Club, catch a film at the local cinema multiplex or enjoy a show at the Playhouse Theatre. The delights of Epsom Downs Racecourse and Chessington World of Adventures can also be enjoyed by Epsom residents with the theme park less than five miles away.

At Horton Country Park nature reserve, you’ll find bluebell woods and the green woodpecker if you visit at the right time of year. Nonsuch Park, in nearby Cheam, is one of the last vestiges of Henry VIIIs deer hunting legacy in the area, and Epsom
Common produces superb blackberries, as well as being popular for nature walks and bird spotting. Another local haven for wildlife is the lake and gardens at Bourne Hall in nearby Ewell and several walks lead from the lake along the Hogsmill River.
