Orbit Homes Excels in year-end

Orbit Homes, the development and sales arm of Orbit Group, has reported an excellent set of year-end figures, exceeding their new homes sale targets for the year.

House hunters have been reserving homes at a rate of more than nine per week throughout January, February and March and Orbit Homes has also seen its busiest quarter on record in terms ofnew home enquiries, reservations and completions.

As the financial year came to a close Orbit Homes saw an increase in shared ownership completions, totalling 49 in March alone, as buyers rushed to beat the end of the Stamp Duty exemption helping Orbit Homes’ Sales and Marketing Team exceed its targets both in terms of completions, 188 achieved against a target of 186, and sales total, 2011/12 target exceeded by £696,890.

In other areas, the Mortgage Rescue Team , a scheme that helps homeowners losing their homes if they encounter financial difficulty, completed 223 cases throughout the year.
